Doubt: A Parable

April 18-19. **Performance in Mandarin** Set in a Bronx Catholic school in 1964, Doubt: A Parable follows the formidable Sister Aloysius as she grows suspicious of Father Flynn’s relationship with a young student. What begins as a quiet concern becomes a gripping moral confrontation between certainty and compassion, authority and truth. Through razor-sharp dialogue and deeply human characters, the play invites audiences to wrestle with ambiguity, examine the limits of conviction, and confront the unsettling space where faith and doubt coexist.

Poems and Dances from the East

May 2. The program features world premiere works by contemporary composer Leonid Iogansen, inspired by the sound and musical cultures of the East. The program features Leonid’s latest compositions for violin and piano, evoking the sounds of the Himalayas region. Both Western and Eastern instruments join for a full ensemble work, the music in which explores the bridge between the two musical universes.
