 MVCPA Rentals FAQ

Primary Renting

Primary Renting, when the event calendar is determined from primary renting requests, is typically conducted in December of each year for the following October through September. The primary renting process opens September 26th.  All requests for Primary Renting are due on December 1st by 5 pm.

  • Request Due: December 1st by 5 pm
  • Period Rented: October 2026 through September 2027
  • Primary requests require a nonrefundable $200 Reservation Fee to hold the event date(s).
  • Request for Renting

All requests received after the December 1st deadline will be processed as Secondary Rentals. A status update on Primary Rental Requests will go out in late January 2026.

Secondary Renting

Rental requests received after each year’s Primary Renting request deadline are considered Secondary Renting. Secondary requests are accepted year-round and require a nonrefundable $200 Reservation Fee.

Email Jordan@mvcpa.com to find out if your date(s) are available. If dates are available, fill out the Request for Renting form and submit it along with the requesting organizations’ 501(c)3 letter (if applicable), and a $200 nonrefundable check made payable to the "City of Mountain View."

Any requests received less than eight (8) weeks prior to the event date are subject to an additional nonrefundable $250 Rush Reservation Fee.

Late rentals may not appear in some MVCPA marketing vehicles depending on production deadlines
